Scuba Diving Cayman
Diving in the Cayman Islands is world-class and we recommend everyone experience the underwater world around the island. Choose from a variety of sites with shear walls, shallow reefs, wrecks, swim throughs, night dives, and much more. On the north side of the island, where Silverthatch Watersports is based, there are 30+ sites to visit that include 100ft wall dives and shallow reefs to keep any level of diver entertained without revisiting the same place on the same trip. We specialize in two tank diving in the morning or afternoon, depending on your preference.
Diving on the Northern wall of Cayman has a wide range of great sites to visit for the first time, or for the 100th time. One of our favorites is Eagle Ray Pass. This site is one of the best places to start your day by descending into a crack in the main wall, dropping you out at 100ft which makes for a great picture opportunity. As its' name suggests, you may also turn your head to find one, or hopefully many, Eagle Rays majestically gliding past. Others top requested sites include Princess Penny's Pinnacle and Rays Bedroom, but just know we will always try to take you to the best site for the best experience.

At Silverthatch we like to enjoy ourselves, which in turn we hope that you do also! With that in mind, we like to keep small groups of divers when possible. Whether you are paying private or single rate, we try not to do more than 8 divers on the boat.
Small Groups
All our dives will be guided by a PADI Certified Instructor. So forget reading your compass and follow us to enjoy the underwater world. With an in-depth briefing before you make your splash, you'll know you will be in safe hands with us while you concentrate on looking at the beauty that is Cayman's underwater world.
Guided Tours
Diving is to be a relaxing and exciting experience. Take your time! Believe us when we say, we dive slower then slow. You're here in Cayman for a vacation. Our instructors will ease you in if you are feeling the nerves be this your first or 1000th.
